Squirrel-Cat-Bird (87 kb mp3)
A chorus of squirrel, cat and bird. If you listen carefully you can hear what has the attention of this Texas Fox squirrel. I am not sure whether the bird is simply mocking the squirrel or just having fun adding to the ruckus.

Now that the bird has left, the squirrel can focus his(her) attention on the cat.

FOOTNOTE: Recorded on May 18, 2003 in North Austin, Texas while testing a pair of vintage (1959) ElectroVoice 666 microphones using a HHB MDP 500 minidisc recorder. Sound transferred to MP3 using Sonic Foundry's Sound Forge 6.0 software.
